Ford has a vast culture and, vital to them, Ford is a massive and well known brand. It has a history and style (some might say) that is intrinsically linked to the car world and motoring industry. Having seen the work of team members within HybridLab through an artist promoted on the site, Ford’s advertising agency contacted Sonja Fowler to use some of her images in one of their campaigns. She then passed them on to James Kinloch who was coordinating HybridLab at that time, and agreed images were passed on to Ford and their advertising company
The policy in HybridLab is to let the work and talents of the collaborating parties speak for themselves. This allows people involved in the project to use their creative talents to the full, whilst forming a creative community based around the site. Fords' agency became aware of HybridLab through the network of artists and media placements that are a part of the community established by the creative team that work there.
