Creative design process

When having a creative design-process it really should be a user-based design.

This means that the end-user always should play a central role in the process and with that comes the need for a deep understanding of the target audience and what you want to achieve with them.

It's said, during the web 1.0 era, sites were made with the designers desire for what the user should have rather than what the user needed. Perhaps this was OK as the user, at this stage, was very green and very new to the web so such thoughts (on what they wanted) would have been clouded by the initial amazement of the web.

Now users have a great sense of design features and what they want to see to make their day and time on the web nicer for them.

The User Based Design Process

So lets look at each stage of a suggested, four stage, user-based design process.

1. Information gathering stage

2. Development stage

3. Evaluation stage

4. Implementation stage

So you have had a teaser of the importance of a User-Based Design Process (UBDP) so go to the User Based Design Process tab to read all about it. Or to make it easy you can just click here.
