Be it web design, seo, website usability etc it's all about being creative. Now, there are two sides to this. One, is that people be creative to win awards. Two is that people know that winning awards for a very pretty ad or a very pretty site is great but does the site, ad or whatever sell the product and make the user happy? To be creative is to find a mix of the two. Of course this is in the world of online marketing and of course it can do both but the main thing is that the consumer is left happy and interested with the work. So in the creative work examples you will see organisations such as HybridLab, Moveme, Warrior Networks, Edward Burnand and more. Each of these are broken down into three main areas, these are: 1. Structure 2. Content 3. Culture An understanding of Structure, Content and Culture are key areas in creative SEO. You must know simple things such as the best language used to write the copy (content), what works well on the site (culture) and an easy way to find and navigate round for both users and search engines (structure). Creative seoIn the world of creative SEO it's vital that a site that ranks well looks good and has great usability. This means that at not one point should a user have to think too hard about where the information is. Everything on a site must be clear and intuitive. Links to places on the site that offer more information are also a big part. In the world of SEO these links should be relevant in terms of the word used to the page linked to. For example, if a user wants to know more about seo and how (and why) it can be viral they should be able to click on the word viral, or just click here. |
